Gday everybody,
Well, we have finally cracked the 300 mark in membership – it’s pretty obvious
that Royal Enfield is booming as a large amount of our membership is now
riding 650 twins, UCE singles, or the new Meteor singles.
And so we are growing too, which means more wonderful Enfield events – we
have the Winter Rally coming up early next month, but at the moment it’s under
severe threat due to Covid, we have the AGM in November, and the GBHMR in
March next year at Crookwell.
These events are destined to be classics (as usual), and so particularly to all you
new members, read up on them in the RECOAN, and book yourself in for a fine
motorcycling time on the bikes we love with good company.

NSW is leading the way with regular rides – they are shaming VIC.
Humberto in Darwin still rides alone – many new Enfield riders up there are not
aware of the 1 year free membership offer unfortunately.
However, a bit of promotion on facebook saw a huge fillip to membership in a
matter of just two days in late June – thank you to the Vice President Craig Katen
who made it happen.
Here’s hoping that many of the 12 month free membership members stay on
into the future.
The AGM is in November and already it is becoming difficult to get
accommodation in Leongatha, so if you are attending this year’s AGM, you need
to make your accommodation arrangements ASAP.
